A Crochet Training Program was successfully conducted by Mother India's Crochet Queens (MICQ) in association with the Rotary Club of Madras North East (RCMNE) for 20 women from a Self-Help Group (SHG) at Ambedkar Bhavan, Kotturpuram. The session commenced with an introduction to the basic crochet stitches and was led by Ms. Kiranmayee Pamarthy. The participants enthusiastically engaged in the hands-on training and quickly learned the fundamentals of crochet, marking the beginning of their skill development journey. This initiative was organized with the objective of empowering women through vocational skill development, enabling them to explore opportunities for self-employment and income generation through handmade crochet products.
